Ferdinand and Erika Roberto have served as the Kids Ministry Directors at Proximity Church since 2022. They partner with parents to disciple kids with a Christ-centered message. Their desire is to create a safe environment where kids can discover love, community, and purpose—while making friends and having fun.

Ferdinand and Erika both grew up in Christian homes. Ferdinand understood at an early age the importance of connecting people to God, and encouraging them to discover and live God’s purpose for their lives. At 18 years old, he became a youth pastor. Since then, he has preached and taught the gospel in several states and countries. He has an Associate’s Degree in Drafting Design and currently works for the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Erika also works with the Department of Veteran Affairs as a Supervisor. She has served the Lord in several ministries. Her passion is to share the Love of Jesus with others and help them grow and discover what God can do through them.

They enjoy traveling, sports, cooking and hosting in their home. They are the parents of two beautiful kids, Isaac and Naara, and their dog, Thor.
