Josh and Andrea Santiago decided to make Proximity church their home in 2016 and got married shortly after in 2017. They welcomed their first child in 2024.

Josh has served in worship ministries for 11 years. Soon after learning to play the guitar, without any formal training, he said “yes” to joining the youth worship team at his former church. Since then, he has learned how to play multiple instruments. Saying “yes” to God’s call has greatly impacted his passion for music and his passion for the Lord. He now leads people in worship at Proximity.

Andrea has served in worship ministries for 7 years. She is passionate about facilitating God’s presence through song and leading Proximity’s worship ministry. Ever since she first got involved with the Deaf community, she knew she wanted to become a professional ASL interpreter, and went on to earn her Bachelor’s in English-ASL interpreting. She continues to pray about what it could look like, at Proximity, to make a community of faith and the Word of God accessible to the Deaf community.
